Mollusc Robo
A stretched-out version of Mollusc, designed to add paddle power and wave-catching ability while retaining a performance feel. Features streamlined fuller nose, round tail, lower nose entry, medium tail rocker, and a combination of concave and vee through the back half of the board. The flatter deck and fuller low soft rails are carried over from the original Mollusc.
History & Performance
Developed from the Mollusc as a higher-volume performance board and an alternative to surfing a Mini Mal.
Designed to maximise wave-catching without giving away too much manoeuvrability. Added volume improves paddling, glide, and early entry, while the round tail, vee, and tail rocker help the board turn tighter in the pocket.
A versatile option for surfers looking for extra assistance getting into waves, returning from injury, surfing less frequently . Performs well in a wide range of conditions, with enough drive and hold to handle quality surf when it arrives.
